2/1

Dual novice hurdle winner who was also runner-up in Cheltenham Grade 2. Left his chasing debut form behind when second at Wetherby in November. Failed to repeat that at Doncaster but back on track after a wind op when second at Market Rasen 6 weeks ago. Should go well again.

Glen Cannel^p1,t²²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-10| J: R P McLernon| T: L Morgan| OR: 115| BF| D

16/1

Winner of a Market Rasen maiden and Ayr novice on his first 2 starts over hurdles. Struggled in handicaps after but has always appealed as a chasing type and yard has hit form. Headgear on.

Form: 13P/335-

Hurlerontheditch^h,t²¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-7| J: C Gethings| T: K Bailey & M Nicholls| OR: 112

5/1

Would have made a winning return/chase debut at Warwick but for an unfortunate slip after the last. Not in same form next 3 of 4 starts, however, running poorly at Bangor 3 weeks ago.

Form: 3/F4655-

Crypto Currency¹⁰⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-2| J: Thomas Bellamy| T: Miss E C Lavelle| OR: 107

7/2

Winning pointer who hinted at ability in bumpers for Oliver Sherwood. Off for nearly 2 years before fifth of 13 for new yard at Newbury in November and duly came on for that when third at Fontwell. Should have more to offer ahead of handicap/chase bow.

Form: 3157/53-

Next Left²²

Age: 8| Weight: 11-0| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton| OR: 105

2/1

Fair form when placed in 3 hurdles for Gary Moore at the end of 2021. Below that level both starts for this yard after a long absence, however, so bit to prove now sent chasing (placed in points).

Form: 2323/50-

T: Mrs J Williams J: Non Runner

Forecasts

Next Left (2/1), Ukantango (2/1), Crypto Currency (7/2), Hurlerontheditch (5/1), Another Folly (8/1), Glen Cannel (16/1)

GLEN CANNEL promises to make a better chaser so can make a winning start in this sphere with his yard right back among the winners. Crypto Currency is building up to something after a long absence, while Ukantango has the advantage of chase experience.
