Won twice off higher marks in the early part of 2023, latterly over this C&D (good to soft). Best effort since when third in his bid to win the same race here last month but he was readily brushed aside by the first 2 and he's not the easiest to predict nowadays.

Consistent sort who notched third success over fences when scoring in good style over C&D in January. At least respectable efforts in defeat since and while he remains 6 lb above his last winning mark, this 8-y-o is likely to be on the premises once again.

Point winner who has yet to strike under Rules but has performed with credit on several occasions. Looked rusty back from a break/first run following a wind op when chasing home wide-margin winner Texard at Market Rasen (17.2f, good to soft) and he's one of the likelier winners.

A fair winning hurdler/chaser who was left clear at the last when opening his account in a handicap chase at Huntingdon (16.5f, good to soft) in March. Too free in the hands of an amateur back hurdling at Kempton next time but could be involved now returned to fences/reunited with Lilly Pinchin.

Successful on sole outing in points but failed to build on a promising start over hurdles. However, bettered previous chase form by some way when 9½ lengths second to Ferrybridge at Huntingdon where she probably would've finished much closer but for a mistake 2 out. Shortlisted.

Fair hurdles winner in Ireland in 2021 but hasn't shown much in 4 starts for present connections, including both attempts over fences. Sports cheekpieces for the first time over jumps here and first-time tongue strap also enlisted.

Fair hurdles winner who shaped with far greater promise than he did on his first 2 starts over fences when third in a 9-runner handicap chase at Stratford (17f, good) last May. Absent since but resumes on a 2 lb lower mark and could easily have a say if raring to go.

Winning Irish pointer but he yet to shine under Rules, failing to complete first 3 starts in mares' novice hurdles and the safely held when getting round in one at Huntingdon (20.7f, good to soft) where she was equipped with first-time cheekpieces. Down in trip for this handicap/chase debut.

Veteran who went close off a 6 lb higher mark at Stratford in June 2022 but he hasn't made much of an impact in 2 starts since returning from 18 months off in January.

IORENS appeared to be travelling at least as well as eventual winner Ferrybridge when losing momentum with a second-last mistake at Huntingdon and, now 4 lb better off with that rival, she could be the answer. Jet of Dreams is entitled to come on for his Market Rasen spin and is feared most, while Famoso and Henri Le Bon are others to consider.
