From the family of very smart hurdler/chaser (2m-2¾m winner) Finian's Oscar. Has looked a work in progress in bumper/both hurdles outings.
Off the mark at the second attempt in Irish bumpers for Andy Slattery and improved again when seeing off Listentoyourheart and 11 others in a listed contest on debut for new connections at Doncaster in December. Just fifth at Market Rasen since but a hurdles newcomer of serious interest.
Looks very limited on early evidence.
Point/bumper winner who showed plenty to work on sent hurdling after 19 months off when third of 14 in a maiden at Hereford (16.2f, soft) in November 2022. Off further 17 months and may have needed the run on last month's return. This will reveal more.
Fair bumper winner who wasn't seen to best effect when well held on her hurdling debut here in October, badly hampered 3 out and not given at all a hard time after. Promise at Stratford the following month too and she represents an excellent yard.
Little promise in bumpers to end 2023.
Sir Percy filly who offered little in a brace of bumpers. Hood on now hurdling.
Runner-up both completed starts in Irish points but minor promise only on last March's hurdles debut.
Modest handicapper on Flat, stays 1¾m, respectable effort last time. Has left Ed Dunlop ahead of this hurdles debut with blinkers left off.

Avakate (8/11), Get Sky High (3/1), Hot Fizzy Lizzy (9/2), Woolberry (7/1), Dame Sarra (16/1), Apples Moon (20/1), Red Panda (40/1), Take A Hike (40/1), Misting (80/1), Darquesse (200/1)
AVAKATE was talented enough to win twice in bumpers, and kept to her own sex now hurdling, this looks a very good opportunity. Dan Skelton is responsible for Get Sky High and Hot Fizzy Lizzy and they appear to be the chief threats.
