Kap Chidley^t¹⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-13| J: Alan Johns| T: Tim Vaughan| OR: 93| BF

14/1

Better at Ffos Las 3 weeks ago and has slipped to a good mark judged on a couple of bits of form, not least a second over C&D in October. Interesting.

Form: 4/25743-

Wexford Park¹⁵⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-5| J: R T Dunne| T: G Hanmer| OR: 85

18/1

Hasn't shown much in bumper/3 races over hurdles but from a pointing background and could do better now handicapping upped in trip and switched to fences back from 5 months off.

Form: 33/8458-

Unwanted Attention^t⁴⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 10-12| J: S Bowen| T: R Potter| OR: 78| C

17/2

Off the mark over hurdles over 2½m here last summer. Some encouragement on chase debut at Hereford in December and may have needed the run 3 months on at Southwell.

Form: 01475P-

Hi Riko^t²³

Age: 7| Weight: 10-12| J: Lily Pinchin| T: R Hobson| OR: 78

20/1

Runner-up twice in handicap hurdles in November and shaped better than the distance beaten suggests back over fences at Taunton (23f) 3 weeks ago. May yet do better in this sphere.

Form: 2PP475-

Blagthebookies³³

Age: 6| Weight: 10-7| J: Paul O'Brien| T: Harry Derham| OR: 73| D

4/7

No show over hurdles but wide-margin winner of a point last month. Worth a look now handicap chasing for new trainer.

Form: 1/000P1-

Bombay Sunset²⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 10-7| J: Tom Cannon| T: L Wadham| OR: 73

50/1

Second in point bumper (May 2022) but well beaten in a couple of bumpers/over hurdles. Low mark for handicap chase debut.

Forecasts

Blagthebookies (4/7), Mister Barclay (8/1), Unwanted Attention (17/2), Lindisfarne (11/1), Kap Chidley (14/1), Wexford Park (18/1), Higgs (20/1), Hi Riko (20/1), Bombay Sunset (50/1), Leading The Way (100/1)

KAP CHIDLEY's best run came in a C&D handicap chase in October off 6 lb higher and having shaped better last time he could be ready to strike. Mister Barclay opened his account over hurdles 4 weeks ago and is interesting now switched to fences, while Blagthebookies is worth a look starting out in this sphere for Harry Derham.
