Coolagh Park³⁴

Age: 10| Weight: 11-12| J: Mrs Izzie Hill⁽⁵⁾| T: A Hill| OR: 114| BF

16/1

Fair in bumpers/over hurdles for Gordon Elliott some time ago. Has enjoyed success in points since and stable has a solid record in this sphere.

Form: 1/32312-

Iskandar Pecos^p³¹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-12| J: Mr Huw Edwards⁽⁵⁾| T: Miss Roach| OR: 129

3/1

Multiple point winner who made it two from three in hunters when scoring at Ludlow last time. Longer trip is in his favour and he boasts obvious claims.

Form: 331211-

Latenightrumble^t1³²

Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: Jack Andrews| T: T Ellis

7/2

Sulamani gelding. Multiple point winner, including last time (Apr 1). Half-brother to 2 previous winners of this race, notably Latenightpass, so he's worth chancing first time under Rules.

Form: P1/U141-

Minella Jab¹⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: Mr D Andrews⁽³⁾| T: Miss M Lawrence

40/1

Multiple point winner who bettered his Rules debut when third in a hunter at Exeter a fortnight ago. He's likely to come up short in this, however.

Form: P21553-

Olly Norse^p1⁸⁹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: Toby McCain-Mitchell⁽⁵⁾| T: J Drinkwater

28/1

Norse Dancer gelding. Dam fair 21f hurdle winner. Point winner, runner-up last 2 starts (latest Feb 4). Wears cheekpieces.

Form: P314/22-

Padjoes Legacy^p1²⁰

Age: 8| Weight: 11-12| J: Miss Gina Andrews| T: N Padfield

22/1

Multiple point winner, beat sole rival last time (Apr 13) and booking of Gina Andrews catches the eye, so one to respect on first go under Rules.

Form: 42PU11-

Paper Mill⁸⁹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-12| J: Mr Charlie Case⁽⁵⁾| T: M

17/2

Showed nothing on only Rules outing but he's a multiple point winner, including on his last 2 starts (latest Feb 4), so worth a market check on first go in hunters.

Form: U11/211-

Wolf Walker^h1⁴¹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-12| J: Mr William Biddick| T: C R Barber

10/3

€47,000 3-y-o, Diamond Boy gelding. Dam, little sign of ability. Won last 3 of 6 starts in points (latest Mar 23). One to note under one of the top jockeys in this sphere.

Form: 36/P111-

Forecasts

Iskandar Pecos (3/1), Wolf Walker (10/3), Latenightrumble (7/2), Another Furlough (9/2), Paper Mill (17/2), Coolagh Park (16/1), Padjoes Legacy (22/1), Olly Norse (28/1), Minella Jab (40/1)

LATENIGHTRUMBLE has already enjoyed plenty of success between the flags, including last time, and he's related to a couple of past winners of this race, so he should be primed for a big run. Iskandar Pecos arrives on a hat-trick and sets the standard, so he's an obvious player and Wolf Walker should be considered.
