Fairly useful maiden on the Flat and easy winner on hurdles debut at Tramore (21.6f, heavy) in January. Not disgraced in a Thurles Grade 3 and a 2m Naas novice the last twice and should prove too strong for these rivals.
Didn't show much in 3 starts on the Flat for Keith Dalgleish in 2021 and best watched starting out over hurdles for new yard on the back of a mammoth absence.
Successful on the second of his 2 starts between the flags but little to shout about on recent hurdles debut at Market Rasen.
Failed to trouble the judge in 3 runs on the Flat for Johnny Murtagh in 2022 and pulled up on hurdles debut at Kelso 11 days ago.
Runner-up both starts in points and stepped up on previous Rules efforts when failing by a whisker in an Ayr maiden hurdle (2m, good to soft) last month. Likely to emerge as the main danger to Stoke The Fire.
Maiden pointer who hasn't offered much in 2 starts under Rules.
Half-brother to 4 winners, including fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser Antunes. Didn't shape too badly when third of 8 on hurdles debut/first run following a wind op on return at Hereford (19.7f, good) in November. Absent since but each-way chance for new yard here in a first-time hood/tongue tie.
No show 3 starts over hurdles in Ireland last year and big step forward will be needed on debut for new yard.

Forecasts
Stoke The Fire (1/5), Tommys Law (10/3), Uncle Mac (25/1), Jingle Du Gouet (25/1), Justwatchmedance (33/1), Twoplacesatonetime (50/1), Bellslea (80/1), Racquet Club (100/1)
STOKE THE FIRE wasn't beaten far in a stronger novice than this at Naas last time and he looks set to make a small contribution to Willie Mullins' bid for the British jumps trainers' championship. Tommys Law took a step forward when going close at Ayr and he is clear second choice ahead of Uncle Mac.

- Uncle Mac25/1
