Winning hurdler who displayed fairly useful form over fences in France but returned from an absence with a tame display at Sandown and Leicester for current yard. Tongue strap on for 1st time. Something to prove.

Dual winner in first campaign over fences last term but mixed record this season, well held last 2 starts. Potentially on a good mark now but others more solid.

Found wins hard to come by over hurdles but took well to chasing, winning 4 of his last 6 starts, improving again when wide-margin winner of 4-runner event at Stratford in June. Probably needed the run at Wincanton on first run since 4 weeks ago and better expected now.

Had been disputing the lead when falling 2 out in an Irish point and showed fair form in maiden hurdles last spring. Ran to a similar level when second at Huntingdon on handicap/chase debut return and positive start for this yard when filling same spot here (15.8f). Likely to stay and big shout.

Back to winning ways at Huntingdon (19.9f, 3 runners) over a year ago but ended the campaign out of sorts and could hardly have shown any less under a change of tactics after 11 months off at Plumpton 23 days ago.

Fortunate to open his account over hurdles at Chepstow last time, 6 lengths second when left in front last and just holding on. Still, it was a good run and remains unexposed in handicaps. Makes chase debut.

Fair winner at 16f over hurdles but only modest form at best over fences, failing to fire at Lingfield last time.

Prone to mistakes over fences but often there or thereabouts. Can go well fresh so frame claims.
