Break Heart Hill⁵⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: Lewis Stones⁽³⁾| T: Mrs F M Shaw

150/1

100/1, no show in bumper on debut here 8 weeks ago, labouring badly before halfway.

Form: 6

Impecunious⁶⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: Freddie Gingell⁽⁵⁾| T: C J Down

40/1

Runner-up on sole outing in point bumpers but made an unpromising start to career under Rules in bumper here 2 months ago.

Form: 28

Intrepide Sud^t²⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: J J Burke| T: F O'Brien

15/2

Fair bumper winner given a considerate introduction to hurdling after 20 months off at Taunton recently. Should improve.

Form: 1/621-5

Move With The Beat²⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: Joe Anderson⁽⁵⁾| T: Miss E C Lavelle

12/1

Dual point winner who has looked in need of the experience both completed starts over hurdles. Will make more appeal in handicaps.

Form: 12-14U6

Rangatira Jack²³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: Sean Houlihan| T: Miss L Blackford| OR: 105

8/1

Fair form over hurdles, placed in the mud over bare 3m at Wincanton 3 weeks ago. Has races in him.

Form: 80-5943

Vincenzo^t²⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: S Thomas| OR: 120| BF

30/100

Has contested stronger races over hurdles and placed 3 times, although he burned a few fingers again at Ascot (19.3f) last time after a wind op and fitted with a tongue tie, his jumping letting him down more than once. Looks more of a chaser but this is a good opening down in trip.

Form: 42-3243

Vision De Maine⁸⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: David Noonan| T: D Pipe

12/1

Successful sole start in Irish points and has shown a bit in a couple of races over hurdles (had breathing operation prior to latest run). Capable of better.

Form: 1-270

Apples Moon⁸⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 10-11| J: James Bowen| T: Nicky Martin

50/1

From the family of very smart hurdler/chaser (2m-2¾m winner) Finian's Oscar. Has looked a work in progress in bumper/Chepstow novice hurdle.

Form: 68

Forecasts

Vincenzo (30/100), Intrepide Sud (15/2), Rangatira Jack (8/1), Move With The Beat (12/1), Vision De Maine (12/1), Impecunious (40/1), Apples Moon (50/1), Brave Ruler (100/1), Break Heart Hill (150/1)

VINCENZO has been contesting stronger races and should be winning this if he's none the worse after his Ascot flop (let down by jumping). Rangatira Jack might be the one to benefit if the favourite fluffs his lines, while Intrepide Sud is also in with a shout.
