Taunton Round Table T-Rex Steaks Handicap Hurdle

Defied a penalty in the manner of a useful novice at Chepstow (19.4f) in December and was far from disgraced when third in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham subsequently. Ran too bad to be true at Haydock since and remains with potential on handicap debut.

Completed hat-trick when narrowly taking Sandown handicap (23.5f) in December but finished well held at same course last time and needs further improvement to defy current mark.

Progressive over hurdles prior to a blip final start last term but disappointed in a couple of attempts over fences this season and has something to prove back over the smaller obstacles here. Had wind operation.

Bagged second success of this season when easily taking 8-runner handicap hurdle at Exeter (21.6f, heavy, 5/2) 23 days ago. 7 lb higher now but another bold bid looks likely.

Landed a maiden (19f) at this course on return in November and suited by increase in trip when resuming winning ways at Ludlow (21.2f) in February. Not in same form latest but can't be ruled out.

Won handicaps at Plumpton (20.5f) and Warwick (19f) in the autumn of 2022 for Gary Moore but lightly raced and largely disappointing since, including on debut for new yard (after 13 months off) at Newton Abbot 20 days ago.

Lightly-raced gelding who showed much improved form when second on handicap debut over C&D in February and has since opened his account in a maiden at Exeter (21.6f). May be capable of better yet.
