Betting.Bet Horse Racing Tips Novices' Hurdle (GBB Race)

Showed fairly useful form in bumpers and progressing fast over hurdles, winning a brace of novice events at Taunton to end 2023. Double penalty to carry but still very much the one to beat.

Made a winning hurdles debut over 2m at Newbury in February 2023 and bettered that form when third of 4 in a useful conditions race at Ascot (2m, good) on his reappearance in November. Backward step at Plumpton last month upped in trip but it's still early days.

Looks a longer-term handicap project, clipping heels and falling early at Exeter last time.

First worthwhile form when fifth fitted with a tongue tie at Warwick 3 weeks ago.

Failed to complete in 2 points but showed plenty when placed in a pair of bumpers. Shaped well again when going down only narrowly on 2m Ayr hurdle debut in December but unable to kick on since, spurning what looked a good opening at Hexham 18 days ago. Should still be in the mix.

Down the field in minor event/maidens on Flat and showed nothing both hurdles starts.

Fair winner on the Flat for Harry & Roger Charlton and cost new connections 30,000 gns in October. No promise to be taken from efforts over hurdles so far, however.
