5/1

Something of a course specialist, winning 5 times over fences here. Solid showing over hurdles here recently and this looks very winnable, so he's worth chancing.

I Shut That D'or^t⁶⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-6| J: Freddie Gingell⁽⁵⁾| T: J Tizzard| OR: 107WS

5/1

Fairly useful winning hurdler who has completely lost his way over fences, regularly making errors, so others are more persuasive.

Form: 14-3UPP

4/1

Winning hurdler who has yet to progress from a promising debut in this sphere, again below form at Hereford a couple of months ago. Needs to bounce back after a break.

Form: 566-4P4

Star Flyer^p³¹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-3| J: Paul O'Brien| T: W Greatrex| OR: 104| D

7/2

Winner in chase at Southwell in February. Fourth of 6 in handicap chase (5/1) at Taunton (23f, heavy) 31 days ago. Not one to write off given how well he jumped at Southwell.

Form: 533914

Fairway Freddy⁷⁶

Age: 11| Weight: 11-3| J: James Davies| T: N J Gifford| OR: 104| CD

14/1

Good third of 7 in handicap chase at Huntingdon on penultimate outing but was let down by jumping at Hereford since. Needs to bounce back after a break.

Forecasts

Fame And Fun (10/3), Star Flyer (7/2), Rocky Lake (4/1), I See You Well (5/1), Inedit De Mee (5/1), I Shut That D'or (5/1), Fairway Freddy (14/1), Luckofthedraw (16/1)

Veteran I SEE YOU WELL loves it round here and the bulk of his opponents have a bit to prove, so he's worth siding with over Star Flyer, who is a big player if back to the sort of form he showed at Southwell on his penultimate outing. Inedit de Mee can't be dismissed having his first go over the larger obstacles.
