Jurancon⁶⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 11-9| J: Jack Tudor| T: D Pipe| D

15/8

Successful on second of 2 starts in Irish points and looked a good prospect when readily making a winning start for this yard in 7-runner bumper at Chepstow in December. Good second under a penalty at Newbury since. Looks sure to go well again.

Form: 5-112

Rocking Man⁹¹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-9| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: S Thomas| D

10/11

Justified market support on his Chepstow debut in November and at least matched that form when second there under a penalty on Welsh National day. Bold show assured.

Form: 12

Strong As Steel¹¹²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Charlie Deutsch| T: H J Evans

25/1

20/1, modest form when sixth of 12 in a Ludlow bumper for Dr Richard Newland in December. Will need to leave that behind now setting out for a new yard.

Form: 6

L'equipe Deux

Age: 4| Weight: 10-6| J: Ben Jones| T: T H Weston

12/1

Born To Sea gelding. Half-brother to 9.2f winner Lady Ariella. Dam ran once on Flat. Stable 0-31 in bumpers in the last 5 seasons so he'd be a surprise winner on debut.

Form:

Sandscape

Age: 4| Weight: 10-6| J: Stan Sheppard| T: H D Daly

17/2

Cityscape gelding. Dam point winner. The stable has a 7-95 record in bumpers in the last 5 seasons. Will need to be useful to make a winning start to his career here.

Form:

Laddie Cooper Mia³¹

Age: 4| Weight: 10-2| J: James Davies| T: N J Hawke

66/1

33/1, offered something to work on when fourth of 6 on C&D debut 31 days ago. May do better.

Forecasts

Rocking Man (10/11), Jurancon (15/8), Letterston Lily (7/1), Sandscape (17/2), L'equipe Deux (12/1), Strong As Steel (25/1), Tican (33/1), Laddie Cooper Mia (66/1)

It's likely this will develop into a straight fight between Chepstow winners ROCKING MAN and Jurancon, with a narrow preference for the former from a stable with a 3-8 record in bumpers here.
