Valens Bruyee³⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 12-0| J: Ben Jones| T: Miss R Curtis| OR: 105| C

5/1

Left previous efforts in this sphere well behind when off the mark in a course novice in January and wasn't disgraced in a handicap at Sandown last time. May yet have more to offer.

Form: 47P13

Ask Brewster³³

Age: 5| Weight: 11-9| J: Conor Ring⁽³⁾| T: Evan Williams| OR: 100

11/1

Won sole start in points and showed promise when fourth in a pair of maiden hurdles here in November. Yet to make an impact in handicaps but it's still early days.

Form: 1-4483

Jo Lescribaa⁵⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 11-1| J: Ned Fox⁽⁵⁾| T: Miss V Williams| OR: 92

3/1

Placed in a couple of bumpers in France and bettered previous hurdles efforts when third in a 6-runner novice at Leicester on penultimate outing. Raced on the unfavoured inside at the same track on handicap debut and remains with potential.

Form: 6634

Crossbeau⁴²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Alan Johns| T: Tim Vaughan| OR: 91

10/1

Much improved since sent handicapping and had race in the bag when unseating rider late over C&D on penultimate outing. Disappointed next time but far from one to be writing off.

Form: 6763U5

Reine Fee^t⁵⁹

Age: 11| Weight: 10-6| J: Isabelle Ryder⁽¹⁰⁾| T: G Brown| OR: 83

33/1

Seventh of 12 in handicap hurdle at Plumpton (20.5f, soft, 25/1) 59 days ago. Struggling for form and hard to make a case for.

Form: 4/1-6P97

Richardson⁹⁰

Age: 9| Weight: 10-2| J: Lee Edwards| T: B Clarke| OR: 76

18/1

Fourteen runs since last win in 2020 but stepped up a little on his 2 previous runs this season when fourth of 10 in handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter (22.2f, heavy) in December. Not discounted back from a break.

Form: 252-334

Forecasts

Lady Balko (11/10), Jo Lescribaa (3/1), Valens Bruyee (5/1), Crossbeau (10/1), Ask Brewster (11/1), Parsons Stone (14/1), Richardson (18/1), Reine Fee (33/1)

LADY BALKO got the hat-trick up in ready fashion at Taunton 10 days ago and she's capable of going in again for all that Jo Lescribaa is a formidable danger with improvement on the cards. Valens Bruyee is another one to note returning to the scene of his novice win in January.
