Resumed with a career-best when landing a 9-runner Ffos Las handicap (3m, heavy) in December. Failed to back that up over C&D next time and ran a shocker at Newbury (24.2f, soft) last month. Now just 1 lb above last winning mark but more required.
Ended long losing run over hurdles at Cartmel (22.1f) last July but hasn't really threatened since, finishing down the field at Kelso on his last 2 starts (latest after 3 months off). Mark continues in freefall.
Irish point winner who opened her Rules account at Kelso last April. Has returned an improved model this season, building on a couple of runner-up efforts when scoring at Market Rasen (23.1f, soft) just over 6 weeks ago. Fancied to be in the mix from 4 lb higher.
Fairly useful form in bumpers and has made a promising start over hurdles, making it third time lucky with wide-margin success in 17-runner maiden at Ayr (20.4f, heavy) just over 5 weeks ago, albeit fortunate having been left clear last. Remains open to improvement now handicapping. Good shout.

Winner at Kelso in December 2022 but hasn't finished any better than mid-field in 5 starts this season. Now below his last winning mark but others preferred.
Completed a hat-trick under this rider in 9-runner handicap hurdle at Newcastle (20.3f, heavy) in February. Unable to land the 4-timer but proved at least as good as ever in defeat when third at Wetherby later that month and holds each-way claims if seeing out this longer trip.
Dual winner over hurdles last season but yet to fire this term, including over fences. Back hurdling and headgear discarded.
Fairly useful in bumpers and made a successful debut over hurdles in 12-runner maiden at Newcastle (2½m, good to soft) in November. Below that level in novices twice since but her opening handicap mark looks workable.
Back to winning ways at Catterick in January and only narrowly failed to follow up in 7-runner handicap there a month later. Not seen to best effect just over 3 weeks ago (left poorly placed) and no surprise should he be more competitive here.

Forecasts
President Scottie (2/1), North Parade (5/1), Hashtag Boum (5/1), Blue Baloo (7/1), Shantou Moon (8/1), Chris Cool (8/1), Ballymagroarty Boy (9/1), Schalke (16/1), Ballydisco (20/1), Didtheyleaveuoutto (40/1)
Plenty in with a squeak but preference is for PRESIDENT SCOTTIE, who was a fortunate winner of an Ayr maiden just over 5 weeks ago but promises to be suited by the nature of a handicap and remains open to improvement. Blue Baloo is another stepping into handicaps for the first time and she may emerge as the main danger, with Hashtag Boum and Shantou Moon taken to fight out third.
- Blue Baloo7/1
