Useful winning handicap hurdler who was in the process of leaving his previous chasing efforts behind when falling 3 out at Exeter. Disappointed back over hurdles at Chepstow since, however, and others more solid.
Fairly useful winner at 20f over hurdles. Similar form over fences this season, good second at Lingfield 5 weeks ago, clear of rest and held only late on. Respected.
Enhanced good strike rate over fences when scoring in good style over C&D (heavy) at the end of December. Not in same form at Exeter since but type to bounce back.
Winning Irish pointer who got off the mark in handicap chase at Market Rasen. Decent efforts in defeat since, shaping like the best horse at the weights when second at Carlisle 2 weeks ago. That was a third successive defeat when trading odds on in-running, however, and return to further not ideal.
Won 2 of his 3 starts switched to fences last season for Joe Tizzard. Shaped as if better for the run after 14 months off when fourth of 7 in handicap chase at Plumpton (25.7f, soft) 23 days ago. Tongue strap on 1st time. Others more persuasive.
Point/hurdles winner who got better with each run over fences last season and came on for return when just failing here (25.6f). Disappointed at Bangor since but worth another chance at this trip.
Won twice from out of the blue last season but ran a moody race after 10 months off at Carlisle 2 weeks ago and others make more appeal.
Has been better than ever of late, making it 3 wins from his last 4 starts at Wetherby 3 weeks ago, well on top at the finish. Up in class now but go well again.

Forecasts
Jubilee Express (5/2), O'Connell (7/2), Conkwell Legend (9/2), Ali Star Bert (5/1), Robyndzone (17/2), Gold Emery (9/1), Atakan (16/1), Hold The Note (28/1)
ALI STAR BERT probably did well under the circumstances when making it 3 wins from his last 4 starts at Wetherby 3 weeks ago so shades the vote over the quirky O'Connell, who is capable of winning off his current mark but needs to be played as late as possible. Jubilee Express is another to consider.
