Course winner. 11/1, pulled up in handicap chase at Bangor 3 weeks ago and now reverts to hurdles for the first time in 2 years.
Last season was a write-off but he scored twice in points in November and in good form back hurdling here this year, finishing second of 8 over this trip (heavy) 25 days ago.
Finally off the mark under Rules in 3-runner handicap at Southwell in November. Has followed that with 3 creditable runner-up efforts. One of 2 solid contenders for his stable.
Gained a third handicap success of his career when forging clear at Hexham (3m, heavy) in December but pulled up at Taunton 11 weeks later. Bounce back needed in first-time cheekpieces.
Course winner last spring. Disappointing in 4 outings in the first half of the season but he's dropped back to a good mark if a wind operation helps to spark a revival after 6 months off. Harry Cobden an interesting booking too.
C&D winner but more miss than hit since a chase win here last January.
Fetched £160,000 after finishing second in Irish point in May. Not yet shone under Rules but he's in good hands and this step up in trip is a very good move now handicapping. One of the more interesting contenders.
Fairly useful hurdler for Charlie Longsdon earlier in his career but no better than modest form in 3 comeback outings for new yard this winter, beaten 16 lengths when third at Southwell latest. Mark continues to fall but it's not enough to tempt.

Forecasts
Stratton Oakmont (11/4), Longshanks (7/2), I See The Sea (7/2), Raddon Top (7/1), My Last Oscar (9/1), Mr Tambourine Man (10/1), In Rem (12/1), Diger Daudaie (16/1)
It might be worth chancing MR TAMBOURINE MAN who has dropped to below his last 2 winning marks and it's possible wind surgery since last seen in the autumn will prompt a revival. Harry Cobden has been booked and confidence in his chance would increase should the betting vibes be strong. Kayley Woollacott pair Stratton Oakmont and Longshanks head the dangers along with the unexposed I See The Sea.
