7/1

Enjoyed a productive campaign over hurdles last term, winning 4 times prior to a respectable seventh at the Cheltenham Festival. Displayed promise without scaling same heights over fences this winter and didn't impress with her response to pressure behind Tilly Toughnut back over hurdles last time.

7/1

Promise in bumpers and overcame a sloppy round of jumping to make a winning hurdling debut in a 3-runner novice at Huntingdon in October 2022. Improved to defy a penalty at Southwell (form worked out) 3 months later and now goes handicapping from a fair-looking mark after 13 months off.

16/5

Much improved (after a breathing op) when taking 14-runner novice hurdle at Doncaster (16.6f, soft) in January, pushed out. Worth another crack at this longer trip and must enter calculations on handicap debut.

13/2

Won a point bumper in November 2021 and showed much improved form to get off the mark under Rules on handicap debut at Exeter (16.7f, heavy) 23 days ago, suited by emphasis on stamina. Hit with a 7 lb rise but further progress can't be ruled out.

Forecasts

Followango (5/2), Sammy's Guarantee (16/5), Regal Renaissance (18/5), Blue Beach (5/1), Tilly Toughnut (13/2), Endless Escape (7/1), Sedge Wren (7/1)

SEDGE WREN hasn't been since landing a brace of novices last season, but the form of the second of those wins has worked out well and, from a fair-looking opening mark, she's taken to defy a 13-month absence and make a successful handicap debut. Blue Beach was only narrowly denied back over hurdles by a course specialist at Market Rasen and looks sure to go well again, while Exeter-scorer Tilly Toughnut remains unexposed.
