Revived since joining new yard, backing up victories here (20.9f) and at Kelso (21.6f) with good third of 7 in handicap chase at latter course (23.4f, heavy) 36 days ago. Return to shorter trip should suit and holds strong claims.

Fairly useful winning hurdler/chaser last term. Off 7 months/had wind op, tired when refusing last in handicap chase at Ludlow on return in December but stepped up on that with solid third at Hereford (20.9f) 35 days ago. Likely capable of better.

Dual-winning hurdler who posted an encouraging fourth on chase debut at Newbury in December and was in the process of improving on that when unseating rider (hampered by faller) at last in handicap at Uttoxeter (20f, heavy) 23 days ago. Shortlist material.

Enjoyed an excellent season over fences last term, scoring 3 times, and resumed winning ways at Catterick (19.2f) during the Christmas period. Not in same form at Sedgefield since, however, and others look better treated.

Fair hurdler who opened account in this sphere when running out a decisive winner at Newcastle (16.3f) 14 months ago. Soundly beaten all 3 starts since, though, and has something to prove now.

Winning hurdler who built on his reappearance effort to run out a good winner over C&D (soft) in October. Back to that sort of form when third at Sedgefield (19.3f, heavy) latest and merits consideration.

Not seen to best effect at Sedgefield earlier this month but all 6 career wins have been gained at Hexham and he makes limited appeal from 10 lb out of the handicap.
