Point winner who also scored twice over hrudles last January. Plenty of creditable efforts in defeat after but he ran badly on his chasing debut at Stratford in November. Needs subsequent wind surgery to spark a resurgence for new yard.

Forecasts

Invincible Nao (7/5), Imac Wood (4/1), Pearly Island (9/2), Tupelo Mississippi (6/1), El Muchacho (15/2), Conceroe (16/1)

Verdict

IMAC WOOD hasn't looked back since undergoing breathing surgery and can record a fourth success of the season on the back of his strong-travelling Hereford victory last month. Kelso-scorer Tupelo Mississippi is weighted to go close and rates a big threat though, while the reliable Invincible Nao and C&D winner Conceroe command plenty of respect too in a competitive event.
