American Mike^t⁴⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 11-3| J: Jack Kennedy| T: G Elliott| C| D

7/2

Useful chaser (successful return here). 25 lengths fourth of 5 to Gaelic Warrior in Faugheen Novices' Chase (13/2) at Limerick (19.4f, heavy) 45 days ago, finishing weakly. Up in trip. Bit to prove now once more.

Form: 2474-14

Minella Cocooner²²

Age: 8| Weight: 11-3| J: Danny Mullins| T: W P Mullins| CD

11/8

Smart winner at 22f over hurdles. 11/10, didn't need to be at best when winning 6-runner novice chase at this C&D (heavy) 22 days ago, comfortably. The 2022 Albert Bartlett second seems sure to go well.

Form: 122/2-31

Nick Rockett⁴¹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-3| J: Paul Townend| T: W P Mullins| D

6/4

Smart hurdler. 2/7, improved when winning 5-runner novice chase at Fairyhouse (21.4f, heavy) 41 days ago, readily. More to come up in trip and lots to like.

Form: 4111-41

Senecia^h1⁸

Age: 7| Weight: 11-3| J: Phillip Enright| T: V Halley

66/1

Useful chaser. 200/1, 39¼ lengths last of 6 to Il Etait Temps in Irish Arkle Novices' Chase at Leopardstown (17f, soft) 8 days ago, refusing to settle. Significantly up in trip. Hood on 1st time. Would be a surprising winner.

Form: 2F23P6

Forecasts

Minella Cocooner (11/8), Nick Rockett (6/4), American Mike (7/2), Favori De Champdou (14/1), Senecia (66/1)

An interesting renewal of this Grade 2 staying novice with Willie Mullins surely holding the aces, MINELLA COCOONER just preferred over Nick Rockett with very little between them.
