BLUE PRINCE had 2 of today's rivals behind when scoring at Newcastle on New Year's Day and looks up to completing a hat-trick from a 4 lb higher mark. Brave Empire was beaten at short odds in the contest but was returning from a 6-month absence and remains of interest from a mark in the mid-90s, whilst Roman Emperor built on his novice win with a sound effort in a C&D handicap last time and also merits respect.
