Off time: 14:22 | Winning time: 4m 23.40s

Duhallow Tommy⁷^{(ex 7)}

Age: 6| Weight: 12-7| J: Ben Bromley⁽⁵⁾| T: T Lawes| OR: 98| CD

10/11

Had shown just modest form over hurdles earlier this season but was the subject of strong support and proved a different proposition sent chasing after a breathing operation as he easily won a similar event over C&D last week, beating Clondaw Robin by 13 lengths. The one to beat under a penalty.

Form: 10-4431

Filanderer⁴¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-11| J: David Bass| T: H Morrison| OR: 95

2/1

Disappointing on the whole over hurdles but is built for chasing and ran much better on his first start over fences when second at Wincanton (2m) 6 weeks ago, unlucky to bump into a classy rival (now rated 139) in a 0-120. Big shout off the same mark down in class.

Form: 774-402

Nathan Walker³⁹

Age: 6| Weight: 10-11| J: Harry Kimber⁽³⁾| T: Kieran Burke| OR: 81

40/1

Poor maiden hurdler, her best run coming here in November. Switches to chasing with improvement needed but it's possible.

Form: 9-3550P

Elpologreg⁴²

Age: 5| Weight: 10-8| J: M G Nolan| T: J W Mullins| OR: 82

33/1

Modest maiden hurdler and little show in 2 handicap chases, including over further here 6 weeks ago.

Form: 9-3594P

Clondaw Robin^p⁷

Age: 11| Weight: 10-4| J: Philip Armson⁽³⁾| T: A Irvine| OR: 74

15/2

Just 1 win to his name but continues in good heart, no match and beaten 13 lengths by Duhallow Tommy over C&D last week. Vulnerable.

Form: P-65232

Cobbs Corner⁴²

Age: 8| Weight: 10-2| J: James Davies| T: N J Gifford| OR: 72

11/1

Handicap hurdle winner last autumn. Encouraging runs completed starts over fences this term, including over further here 6 weeks ago. Hard to see him taking this.

Form: 82P-4U5

Forecasts

Duhallow Tommy (10/11), Filanderer (2/1), Clondaw Robin (15/2), Cobbs Corner (11/1), Elpologreg (33/1), Nathan Walker (40/1)

DUHALLOW TOMMY proved a different proposition as he made a successful debut over fences in taking style here last week and should be hard to beat under a penalty if in the same form. Filanderer is a big threat after his fine second to the now 139-rated Libberty Hunter in a stronger race at Wincanton 6 weeks ago.
