SBK Novices' Handicap Chase (GBB Race)

Fairly useful winner over hurdles and built on an encouraging start in this sphere when getting off the mark at Wetherby in November. Backed it up with a solid third over C&D, though was badly let down by jumping at Haydock since.

Winning Irish pointer who landed maiden hurdle here last season. Promising chase debut when second at Huntingdon on return but unable to build on that in 2 starts since. Still early days. Back down in trip.

Made most of a good opportunity to get off the mark in a Fontwell novice over a year ago and good placed efforts twice in the spring. Left chase bow/return well behind when second here (20.5f) last month so needs considering.

Jumped better than previously when getting off the mark in 7-runner handicap chase at Doncaster (26f, good) last month. Respectable fourth at Newcastle since and drops back in trip again. Headgear re-fitted.

Bumper/maiden hurdle winner but has evidently had his problems and offered little on chasing debut/return at Cheltenham last month.

Opened his account at Huntingdon in October but came in only sixth of 8 in handicap chase at Uttoxeter (20f, heavy) 63 days ago. Sort to bounce back.

Sole win came over hurdles here Doncaster 14 months ago and left chase bow/return well behind when just denied at Catterick last month. Player.

Fair bumper winner who failed to progress over jumps for Dan Skelton but did settle better in first-time hood when third over fences at Ludlow (20f) for new yard last month. Not out of things if she can back that up.
