Won 3 times as a juvenile hurdler and opened his chase account at the second attempt in novice handicap at Ascot (18.8f) on his return (form has worked out well). Ran to similar level when second at Exeter next time and he can go well again with cheekpieces back on.

Fairly useful hurdler who has done even better over fences this term, winning 2m handicaps at Uttoxeter and Huntingdon in October. Improved again when runner-up at Plumpton (19.7f) the following month, but bounce back called for after a below-par effort last time.

Dual winning hurdler who, in first-time blinkers, matched pick of form in that sphere when landing C&D handicap in December. Followed up at Wetherby 13 days ago, in control when left clear 2 out, and he may do better still as a chaser. Major player.

Fairly useful hurdles winner who has run to a similar level in 2 starts over fences this season, third behind a promising pair in novice handicap at Cheltenham on New Year's Day. Needs to find more with cheekpieces on first time.

French import who made a winning start for Harry Whittington over hurdles in 2022/23. Has been going the right way sent chasing for his current yard this season, making all in novice handicap at Taunton 18 days ago. One to consider with more still to offer over fences.

Fair hurdler who has improved for switch to chasing, building on his reappearance effort when running out a comfortable winner at Plumpton in November. Fell next start but quickly back on track when fourth at Kempton (20.5f) on Boxing Day. Interesting back down in trip.

MOUNT TEMPEST has proved a different proposition with blinkers applied returned to 2m, making it back-to-back wins when making all at Wetherby 13 days ago, and he can score again with the potential for more still to come over fences. Kotmask also remains capable of better as a chaser and could be next best, ahead of Keep Running.
