Successful on sole outing in points and found only one too good on first 2 starts over hurdles last season. Disappointing in handicaps since but it'll be interesting to see what the market has to say now that she's switched to the larger obstacles.

Maiden hurdler who ended last season with a good second on handicap hurdle debut at Chepstow (19.5f) in April. Shaped encouragingly second start back this term when fifth at Lingfield (23f) in November but shade disappointing at Market Rasen a month later. Chase debut.

Irish point winner who failed to progress over hurdles and, easy to back, he offered little short-term promise when pulled up on chase debut at Taunton (23f) 24 days ago. That did come on the back of 8 months off though and this ought to reveal more. Blinkers reached for.

Better signs switched to handicaps over hurdles, runner-up at Uttoxeter/Lingfield in November before a below par display at first-named venue 32 days ago. However, in good hands and no surprise to see a better showing now attentions switch to chasing.

Lightly raced hurdler who made a discouraging start over fences last season, again failing to complete when pulled up at Stratford (19.5f, soft) in April. Plenty to prove starting out for new yard/following 9 months off.

Signs of ability in bumpers but failed to make an impact in trio of novice hurdles and he fared no better for switch to handicaps at Fontwell in December. Switch to chasing needs to bring about improvement.

Scored at Stratford (19.5f) in October and in good form until only sixth of 11 in handicap chase at Hereford (20.9f, soft) 19 days ago. Can give a good account if shrugging off latest effort.

Slipped up at 10th in handicap chase (15/2) at Hereford (20.9f, soft) 19 days ago. In good form prior to that so certainly not discounted.

Offered little in trio of starts over hurdles but proving consistent over larger obstacles, making the frame for fifth successive start when third at Taunton (23f) 24 days ago. Fancied to give his running again back down in trip.

Forecasts

Natty Night (7/2), Ballinoulart (7/2), Martalmix'jac (6/1), Hi Riko (6/1), Letmetellusomethin (7/1), Rajjamataz (17/2), Nine Nine Nine (12/1), Iorens (16/1), Blackcauseway (22/1), Moodofthemoment (28/1)

Verdict

HI RIKO needs to shrug off a lesser effort over hurdles on his most recent start 32 days ago yet, he'd previously been knocking on the door in that sphere and could well be worth siding with to get back on track now his attentions switch to chasing. Ballinoulart is proving consistent in this sphere and rates a threat along with Natty Night. Market support behind Iorens would also need to be viewed positively.
