Evidently hasn't been the easiest to train but he's talented and comfortably saw off the promising Esprit du Potier (won since) at Ayr (2m, soft) last month. Capable of defying a penalty.
Successful on last of 3 starts in Irish points and also struck at the third time of asking over hurdles in a C&D maiden (heavy) just after Christmas. Should be competitive under the penalty.
Made a winning start to his hurdle career in a C&D juvenile hurdle last January but that form is weak and he hasn't been seen since. Others are preferred.
Placed in 2 bumpers in summer 2022 (trained in Ireland first occasion) but comfortably held in 2 novice hurdles for Thomas Gallagher since returning from an absence. Best watched now setting out for Jackie Stephen.
First sign of promise when staying on for fifth of 9 to Dream Boy over C&D 16 days but he's one who is unlikely to really come into his own until handicapping over longer trips.
Has hinted at ability in a bumper/maiden hurdles but he's more one for handicaps down the line.
Third in a course bumper in April but comfortably held in a bumper and maiden hurdle (seventh to Dream Boy) back here this winter.
£40,000 purchase after winning an Irish point in April 2022. It's taken a while for new connections to get him to the track but this isn't a strong race and he's an interesting runner, particularly if the betting vibes are strong.
Modest form at best on the Flat and hasn't completed in 3 hurdle starts. Tongue tie refitted.
Modest maiden on Flat. 150/1, comfortably held on Newcastle hurdle debut just before Christmas.
£80,000 buy after easily winning her sole Irish point. Better effort over hurdles for new connections when fourth of 8 over 2½m at Musselburgh last month. Won't need to step up too much on that form to play a prominent role here.
Showed fair form when runner-up in bumpers at Wetherby and Newcastle last spring. Respected hurdle debutante after 10 months off.

Forecasts
Doyen Du Bar (8/15), Dream Boy (4/1), Rattling Road (7/1), March Wind (17/2), Fiveafterfour (20/1), Eire Street (40/1), Point Franklin (40/1), Master Bricklayer (50/1), Melton Mossy (80/1), Northern Cardinal (125/1), Trailblazer (150/1), Run At Dawn (300/1)
DOYEN DU BAR is quite useful and should be up to defying a penalty here. Recent C&D scorer Dream Boy might be the one to give him most to do unless the betting vibes are strong surrounding returning hurdle newcomers March Wind and Rattling Road.
