Looked a good prospect when winning his first 3 starts in novice hurdles. Disappointed upped in grade subsequently last season, but after 8 months off he shaped well when third on handicap debut at Doncaster 28 days ago. Player off an unchanged mark.
A fairly useful ex-Irish Flat/hurdles winner but he was out of sorts when last seen under both codes for Gordon Elliott in the autumn. Has something to prove for his new yard after a break.
Comfortable all-the-way winner of 2m maiden/handicap hurdles at Kelso this autumn and posted a fine third in Cheltenham novice handicap last time. Up another 5 lb but that form has been franked and he's well in the mix.
A fairly useful hurdler in Ireland for Gordon Elliott who shaped well on his yard debut when fourth of 14 in handicap at Ascot (15.7f, good) 22 days ago when set a lot to do. Needs considering off the same mark.
C&D winner but he came in last of 7 in handicap hurdle at Wetherby (16f, good) on his seasonal return. Has since had a wind op and needs it to spark a resurgence.
Useful handicapper on the level for William Jarvis and gained a second win over hurdles for his current yard at Sandown in November. However, possibly unsuited by testing conditions when well held at the same course last time so has a bit to prove.

Rare Edition (11/8), Arqoob (5/2), Caithness (10/3), Douglas Dc (10/1), Fransham (18/1), In From The Cold (50/1)
Charlie Longsdon's RARE EDITION made a promising return when third at Doncaster and is weighted to resume winning ways off an unchanged mark here. Caithness is enjoying an excellent season though and warrants lots of respect on the back of her big-field Cheltenham third. Douglas DC could also have a say if, as expected, building on his Ascot debut fourth for Tony Carroll.
