New Bet-In-Race With Coral Handicap Chase (GBB Race)

Bumper winner who passed first 3 tests over hurdles with flying colours. Outclassed in Albert Bartlett at the Cheltenham Festival but resumed winning ways/progress on chase bow at Chepstow on return. Made to work hard when following up in 3-runner event at Ascot since but only 1 lb higher.

Well placed to win 8 his 9 starts in 2021-22 and made successful reappearance at Perth (23.8f) in June 2022. Well held in a handful of starts since, however.

Progressive chaser who was impressive when winning over C&D in May. Better for return when good second at Ludlow and of strong interest back at this venue.

Winless since early 2022 but he arrives in good nick, creditable third of 10 in handicap chase at Ascot (23.8f, good) 21 days ago. Has an excellent record at this track so merits consideration.

Good strike rate over fences and resumed winning ways in the Grimthorpe Chase at Doncaster in March. Ended campaign with a career-best second in Bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown but questions to answer now after 2 poor runs this season (reportedly bled on reappearance).

All the better for his Chepstow reappearance when 2 lengths second in first-time headgear (retained) in veterans handicap at Sandown 9 weeks ago. Same mark again but may prove vulnerable back in open company.

Belatedly opened his account over fences at Exeter in February and in process of running well when crashing out at the second last at Uttoxeter (3m) a month later. Better for return when second at Aintree 5 weeks ago and return to this trip will suit.
