Looked awkward when resuming winning ways over fences at Hexham in November and seemed to shirk it off the bridle when fourth of 6 in handicap chase at Southwell (25.8f, soft, 11/2) 25 days ago. Others preferred back over hurdles.

Has a quirky side, but it isn't stopping her at present, winning 3 of her 4 starts since switching to handicap hurdles. A further 6 lb rise looks manageable and she should have more to offer.

Placed in a Newcastle novice hurdle in February but has shown very little since, not coping well with the switch to fences at Huntingdon on return. Hard to fancy.

Strong in the betting when getting off the mark over fences here in April on final outing for Robert Walford. Little encouragement in a pair of starts for current yard, though, and he's opposable in current form.

Irish point winner who landed a gamble from out of the weights at Plumpton (25f) in November, suited by the step up in trip. Even better form when winning 7-runner handicap hurdle at Catterick (25.3f, heavy) 10 days ago and he should give another bold bid under a penalty.

Better than ever when scoring at Lingfield (2m, good to soft) in November and shaped as if still in decent form when fourth of 6 in handicap hurdle at this course (17.7f, heavy) 30 days ago. Probably needs to improve for this longer trip to land a telling blow.

Won a weak juvenile contest here in November and ran poorly when last seen back on the Flat. Remains low mileage back in a handicap but will likely require a career-best to score over this longer trip.

Winless over hurdles since April 2021 and last couple of effort in this sphere have been underwhelming, so she's passed over with cheekpieces added for the first time upped markedly in trip.

Little impact in bumpers/over hurdles, faring no better for the switch to handicap company at Lingfield last time.

ABBEYHILL has proven a different proposition in recent months, having something in hand when gaining his second win at Catterick last week, so he's taken to defy a penalty at the chief expense of fellow improver Shewearsthewellies. It's hard to be overly enthusiastic about any of the remainder, with What's My Line a modest pick for third.
