Modest handicapper on Flat but went with no encouragement when well held on last month's hurdling debut at Plumpton.

£60,000 buy after winning at the fourth time of asking in the Irish pointing field in May and came on plenty for his Rules debut when fourth of 16 in a maiden hurdle at Exeter (16.7f, heavy) 3 weeks ago. Open to further improvement, especially now moving up in trip. Tongue tied.

£25,000 5-y-o, Coastal Path gelding. Half-brother to fair hurdler Ginger du Val. Dam, 17f hurdle winner in France, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (stays 19f) Guardia Top. Runner-up on third of 3 starts in Irish points (May 2022) and warrants respect on this belated switch to Rules.

From a good family and made a positive start when second in a Ffos Las bumper. Unable to build on that when third at Chepstow and shaped as if in need of the experience when filling same spot on his hurdling bow at Southwell last month. Entitled to do better.

Has shown a bit in a bumper/novice hurdle but probably won't be of interest this side of handicaps.

Shaped as if in need of experience in his sole bumper and it was a similar story on his Plumpton hurdling debut. Should do better in time.

Finished runner-up on second of 2 starts between the flags and plenty to like about his Rules debut effort when second in a Chepstow maiden (19.4f) in November. Likely to have been placed but for departing 3 out (fell heavily) back there 16 days later and has been given time to get over that since.

Useful on Flat but has yet to better modest form over hurdles, doing too much soon when well held on handicap debut at Leopardstown (2m) 16 days ago.

Closely related to numerous winners and wasn't seen to best effect when eighth in an Aintree bumper on debut in October. Could fare better making a quick switch to hurdling.

Green on debut but knew more when runner-up in a Hereford bumper in January. However, produced a lacklustre first effort over hurdles at Market Rasen in May, so needs to leave that run well behind after a further 7 months off.

LIVIN ON LUCO has been given plenty of time to get over a heavy fall at Chepstow in November and this looks a good opportunity for him to confirm the promise of his Rules debut. Davidoc should have more to offer over this longer trip, while High Treason can make his presence felt providing he's learnt from his initial experience.
