Useful chaser at best but he arrives well out of sorts, tried in cheekpieces on his last two runs at Fontwell and Doncaster. Hard to make a case for.
A fairly useful chase winner in France and has run to a similar level for his current yard, good runner-up on his return in 2m5f handicap at Fakenham. One to consider.
Built on earlier promise to gan a first success over fences in 9-runner handicap chase at Taunton (23f, good to soft) 24 days ago, idling and just holding on. Needs considering despite taking a 5 lb rise.
Temperamental sort but he arrives in excellent nick over hurdles, scoring here before third of 5 at Kempton (24.5f, soft) 41 days ago. Not discounted now switched to chasing.
A dual hurdles winner in the spring but not so good since returning from 6 months off, tried over fences (cheekpieces on) when beating only one in C&D handicap last time. Has something to prove.
A fairly useful winning hurdler in France who posted much his best effort for his current yard when third of 13 in 2m handicap chase at Lingfield 38 days ago, despite looking unsuited by drop in trip. Big shout off a 2 lb lower mark with his stamina now drawn out more.
Twelve runs since last win in 2022 but he was running with credit when unseated rider 4 out in handicap chase at Chepstow (19.4f, heavy) 29 days ago. Enters calculations off a falling mark.
Fairly useful ex-French hurdles winner who scored over fences at Hereford and looked set to follow up when falling 2 out at Chepstow later last spring. Off 8 months before pulled up on his recent return at Fontwell but shouldn't be written off for his good yard.
A fair 2m2f hurdles winner who wasn't discredited on her first run over fences since 2021 when a C&D third 20 days ago. Can give another good account off an unchanged mark.
Veteran gained his first success over fences here last term for Paul Henderson and in good form for his new yard, runner-up over C&D 20 days ago. Can go well again despite being 3 lb out of the handicap.

Forecasts
Morfee (4/1), Flagrant Delitiep (9/2), Godot (5/1), Brown Bullet (13/2), Icaque de L'Isle (15/2), Flamelco (17/2), Shaw's Cross (12/1), Baddesley (12/1), Grizzly James (14/1), Kap Auteuil (14/1)
FLAMELCO took a big step back in the right direction for Gary Moore when third at Lingfield last time out and with this return to further looking a big plus too he can capitalise on an attractive mark. Icaque de L'Isle is feared most on the back of his good Fakenham second, although it would come as no surprise if Grizzly James bounced back to form and played a part too. Shaw's Cross completes the shortlist.
