Made a winning return last term and repeated the feat this time around, albeit looking flattered as the pace collapsed when beating 4-rivals at Hereford (19.7f) 3 weeks ago, leading after the last and driven out. Rider takes off handy 5 lb but this likely to prove tougher.

Course winner who tasted success twice over hurdles last season, latterly at Newbury (24.2f) in February, taking full advantage of an easy time on the front end. Finished midfield in competitive handicap chase contests after and record fresh a plus ahead of this return to timber.

Very smart chaser who arrives having run a cracker when fourth in last month's Coral Gold Cup at Newbury, staying on gradually from 4 out. Much lower hurdles mark to explore here and his rider takes off a handy 5 lb. Well worth a second look.

One-time smart hurdler who cashed in from a career-low mark at Newbury (3m) in March. Ended his campaign with a poor run at Cheltenham in April but showed he retains plenty of ability when third in 8-runner handicap at Sandown 4 weeks ago.

Ended last season on a high, completing a hat-trick at up to 3m and better for reappearance effort when edged out late on at Sandown (23.5f) 4 weeks ago (On The Blind Side placed third). That may not prove his limit at staying trips and he's respected.

Fairly useful but error-prone maiden handicap chaser who was weak in the betting and ran poorly when pulled up back over hurdles at Chepstow (23.6f) over Christmas. Tongue tie added to cheekpieces now.

Progressive since upped to staying trips and having resumed winning ways on return at Ludlow in November, he quickly dispelled a lesser effort when runner-up at Carlisle (25f) 3 weeks ago. Remains of interest from this sort of mark.

Low-mileage 7-y-o who cemented positive start for new stable when good third on handicap debut at Ascot (23.5f) 2 weeks ago, coming from much further back than pair that beat him. That rates strong form for the grade and he's worth a look at the foot of the weights.

Established as a smart chaser, ELDORADO ALLEN ran another sound race when fourth in last month's Coral Gold Cup and, operating from his much lower mark in this sphere, with his rider taking off a handy 5 lb, he could be worth siding with to get back on the winning trail. Transmission and Ramo are a pair of low-mileage stayers going the right way and are feared, as is Hititi, who is another well in the mix.
