Findthetime²¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-10| J: Conor Rabbitt⁽⁵⁾| T: N G Richards| OR: 122

1/1

Completed a hat-trick as a novice hurdler and at least matched that form to get off the mark over fences at Wetherby (15.2f, heavy) in November. Far from disgraced despite being badly hampered when fourth at Doncaster (19f) since and he's well in the mix again.

Form: 647-P14

Gardener²⁰

Age: 8| Weight: 11-8| J: Fergus Gregory| T: O Murphy| OR: 120| D

11/8

Low-mileage 8-y-o who improved on his fair hurdles form as he made a successful debut over fences on first run since leaving Alex Hales in 4-runner C&D handicap 15 days ago, doing it easily. Claims from 10 lb higher mark with improvement likely.

Form: 6/214-01

Champ De Gane¹⁴⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 11-5| J: Sam Coltherd| T: W Coltherd| OR: 117

6/1

Fairly useful maiden hurdler/chaser who is usually thereabouts, runner-up last 3 starts. Sold from Stuart Crawford £33,000 in September and he should give another good account.

Form: 62-3222

Halfway House Lad^t⁴³

Age: 5| Weight: 10-5| J: Edward Austin⁽⁵⁾| T: M A Barnes| OR: 72

80/1

Well held all completed starts over hurdles and left behind on chase debut from well out of the weights. Stiff task once more.

Form: 509P-78

Forecasts

Findthetime (1/1), Gardener (11/8), Champ De Gane (6/1), Halfway House Lad (80/1)

A good winner at Wetherby on his penultimate start, FINDTHETIME shaped better than the distance beaten suggests having been badly hampered when fourth over further at Doncaster 21 days ago. He could be worth siding with to come out on top dropped back in trip. Gardener, an impressive winner on yard/chase debut at Southwell recently, should give him plenty to think about, however.
