Took well to hurdling last season, culminating in a Kelso Grade 2 win, and picked up where he left off when landing the Welsh Champion at Ffos Las in October. Shaped as if still in form when fifth in Greatwood at Cheltenham since and he can give another good account.

Looked potentially useful when completing a 4-timer in Chepstow handicap in April and, having raced keenly at Cheltenham on his return, resumed his progress when scoring comfortably at Sandown 23 days ago. Not taken lightly with more still to come.

Most progressive since joining this yard and equipped with a tongue tie, rounding off last season with success at Aintree in April. Made a winning return on the Flat at York, before shaping better than the result in Greatwood at Cheltenham. Needs to find more again, though.

Returned to hurdles to finish second in the Imperial Cup at Sandown in March and was impressive when making a winning reappearance at Ascot in November. Possibly found the race coming too soon at Cheltenham 15 days later, so he could bounce back.

Bumper winner who again looked a good prospect when winning his first 3 starts in novice hurdles. Disappointed upped in grade subsequently last season, but after 8 months off he shaped well when third on handicap debut at Doncaster 16 days ago. Major player.

Useful hurdler in France, winning back-to-back minor events in April. Finished down the field but not discredited in Grade 2 chase at Auteuil (21.9f) when last seen in June. Interesting as he goes handicapping over hurdles on first run for yard after leaving David Cottin.

Won sole bumper start and 2 from 4 in novice hurdles during 2021/22. Didn't go on from his encouraging third at Ascot last season (didn't take to chasing), but he got back on track when runner-up in handicap hurdle at Wincanton (19.8f) in November. Shortlisted.

Useful handicapper on the level for William Jarvis and gained a second win over hurdles for his current yard when scoring in handicap at Sandown in November. However, possibly unsuited by testing conditions when well held at the same course last time.

After 8 months off, RARE EDITION got back on track when third on his handicap debut at Doncaster 16 days ago, pulling a long way clear of the rest, and he can build on that effort to return to winning ways. The main danger could be Spirit d'Aunou, who resumed his progress when scoring at Sandown last time, with Call of The Wild also considered.
