Dual point winner who has shaped like a stayer on all 3 starts over hurdles. Heads over the larger obstacles and looks just the type to do better in handicaps now stepping up in trip. Interesting.

Unpromising in points but back on track on second outing for this yard when fifth of 13 in handicap at Kelso (20.9f, heavy) in November. Switches over the larger obstacles and as is often the case with this yard, the market should guide expectations.

Dual chase winner for Charles & Adam Pogson in summer but no impact on all 3 starts in recent weeks. Now below last winning mark but can only be watched.

Dual winner at 20f over hurdles who made an encouraging start over fences when fourth in handicap over C&D in November. Took a step forward from just out of the weights when runner-up at Ayr (20.5f, soft) a month later and there's every chance he can go one better.

Finally off the mark under Rules when scoring at Hexham in June before making light of a 5-month absence to follow up at this C&D (good to soft) just under 8 weeks ago. Should go close again from 3 lb higher mark.

Placed in a point and lightly raced under Rules. Made an encouraging return (had wind op in interim) on just his second start over fences when third at Kelso in October (made effort shade earlier than ideal) so he's one to be interested in with that under his belt.

Showed little over hurdles and similar story over fences to date. Set for another struggle from marginally out of the weights.

Poor maiden hurdler/chaser who was pulled up at Sedgefield on return, leaving her with something to prove.

Forecasts

Baron Briggs (10/3), Euchan Falls (7/2), Dr Shirocco (4/1), Indian Louis (5/1), Breakdance Kid (11/2), Get 'em In (11/1), Divas Doyen (16/1), The White Volcano (16/1), Marajman (50/1)

Verdict

A few in with a squeak but EUCHAN FALLS improved on his chasing debut effort when finishing runner-up at Ayr 3 weeks ago, and with better still to come, he's fancied to come out on top at the expense of Baron Briggs, who paid the price for trying first to close down the front runner at Kelso a couple of months ago. Dr Shirocco and Indian Louis are another couple of interesting contenders, also.
