Fairly useful hurdler/chaser who made a winning start for Stuart Edmunds over fences at Wetherby last February. Stepped up on his low-key reappearance when second in a 4-runner handicap hurdle at Lingfield (23f, good to soft) last time but by no means certain to back that up. Blinkers added.
Left previous efforts well behind when making a winning handicap debut at Chepstow (19.5f, soft) on return in October. However, put in his place off this mark at Ascot since and while it's possible that his stamina was stretched up to 24.4f there, it still has to go down as a disappointing effort.
Fairly useful bumper winner for Nigel Twiston-Davies and found some improvement when opening his account at the fourth attempt over hurdles at Fontwell (17.7f, heavy) where he got up in the shadow of the post. This step back up in trip will be no bad thing but more is needed off 4 lb higher here.
Back to form when signing off last season on a winning note at Chepstow and followed up on her reappearance over this C&D (soft) in November. 3 lb rise for that narrow verdict looks about right but she looks vulnerable in this deeper race.
Last season was a write-off (failed to complete on 4 of his 6 starts, and well held on the 2 occasions that he did get round). However, he scored twice in points in November and is interesting back under Rules for new yard off a potentially handy mark.
Stepped up on what he showed in maiden company when edged out by Asian Spice (winner again since) on return/handicap debut over 16.7f in November. Benefited from the step up to this trip when going one better over C&D later that month and he remains unexposed.
Ended last term on a winning note at Chepstow and has done nothing wrong in a couple of mares' handicaps this season, finishing third to Chloe's Court over this C&D prior to going down narrowly at Wincanton (19.8f, heavy). Has to enter calculations.
Appears to be on the right track, building on her improved Ffos Las second in October when scoring in good style at Ludlow (23.8f, heavy) last month. However, more will be needed if she's to follow up off an 8 lb higher mark in this stronger race.

Forecasts
Danton (16/5), Madaket (10/3), Cast's Tasha (13/2), Kimberley Eve (13/2), Longshanks (7/1), Thirtyfour Thirty (7/1), Chloe's Court (10/1), Feivel (12/1), Karakoram (20/1)
There should be more to come from the unexposed DANTON, who got the job done in a big-field C&D handicap last time and a 4 lb rise is pretty much negligible. Longshanks won twice between the flags in November and is of interest back hurdling off an attractive mark for his new yard, while Cast's Tasha is also accorded respect.
