Age: 6| Weight: 12-2| J: Dylan Johnston⁽⁷⁾| T: O Murphy| OR: 122

9/4

Improved to make a winning handicap debut over 20.5f at Market Rasen in March and probably would have made a successful return at Lingfield 6 weeks ago but for a bad mistake at the last. Raised 3 lb but can go well again if he stays.

5/2

Point/hurdle winner who returned with a fine effort in big-field 21f Cheltenham handicap hurdle last month. That form is solid and he's a big player off the same mark with trip/ground fine.

Form: 38357-D

Paricolor^b,t¹¹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-9| J: Gearoid Harney⁽⁷⁾| T: D Pipe| OR: 115

10/3

Back on a good mark and has run well in hot Cheltenham handicaps the last twice (in front of High Stakes first occasion under this rider). Respected down in class.

Form: 256P-36

Good News^v⁷⁸

Age: 11| Weight: 11-6| J: M Goldstein| T: Mrs L Richards| OR: 112| CD

7/1

4-time course winner who arrives on the back of a creditable second at Stratford (22f, good to soft) in October. Game performer likely to go well back here.

Form: 1495-52

Lanspark^b³²

Age: 8| Weight: 10-12| J: Rex Dingle| T: R L Llewellyn| OR: 104

11/2

Dual winner for the Tizzard stable in 2022 and positive enough start for this yard in the spring. Poor both starts more recently at Chepstow, though. Needs a revival.

Forecasts

Halondo (9/4), High Stakes (5/2), Paricolor (10/3), Lanspark (11/2), Good News (7/1), Ballydisco (15/2), Skandiburg (10/1)

HALONDO probably would have won on his return at Lingfield if he'd met the last flight better and he can make amends if he stays the longer trip. High Stakes and Paricolor are respected on the back of good efforts at Cheltenham, while Good News can never be dismissed around here.
