BetMGM: It's Showtime Handicap Chase

Maiden hurdler who came good at the fourth attempt over fences in C&D handicap in April. Little impact since, including on return at Lingfield 6 weeks ago, but no surprise to see a better showing in re-fitted headgear back here.

Bumper winner who was runner-up in a Stratford handicap hurdle in April and he showed something like that when third and not beaten far on chase debut at Hereford on return last month. That form is looking sound enough and he can go well.

Just modest form at best, let down by jumping over fences the last twice. Still early days with this yard at least and suspect he could prove competitive off this sort of mark at some stage. Cheekpieces are tried.

Much improved when scoring over 2m at Chepstow in January but hasn't reproduced that level of form subsequently.

Poor maiden hurdler but showed he can be competitive from his lowly mark when placed at Exeter and Taunton in the spring. Switches to fences back from 7 months off. Worth a look.

Runner-up at Wincanton in March but pulled up on his last 2 outings. Needs to have been revived by a 6-month break.

Just 1 win to his name (in handicap hurdle here 4 years ago) and turned in best effort for some time back under more positive tactics when second in 2m Lingfield novice handicap chase a fortnight ago. Could figure.
