Bounced back quickly from a lesser run at Wincanton when second of 13 at Kempton (2m, good to soft) last month. Remains on a fair mark and this multiple C&D winner is very much one to consider with an able conditional aboard.

Made a winning hurdles debut at Bangor last November and doubled his tally when accounting for 4 rivals in a handicap at Uttoxeter (15.8f, heavy) 24 days ago. Up just 1 lb and further improvement may be forthcoming.

Fairly useful hurdler who opened his account on the back of a breathing operation/9 weeks off in 2m maiden at Huntingdon in March. However, he has failed to build on that in 3 subsequent starts.

Dual juvenile hurdle winner for Nick Williams during 2021/22 campaign but appears to have gone the wrong way since.

Placed twice from 4 starts in minor events for Gabriel Leenders in France. That form is hard to quantify and only fourth between the flags last month, so the percentage call is to look elsewhere.

Point winner in March 2022 and best effort under Rules when runner-up in a maiden hurdle at Hereford (19.7f, good to soft) in April. However, well held both starts switched to handicaps this season and he needs to get back on track.

Five-time winner in 2021 and ability remains intact judged on what he's shown in handicap hurdles at Aintree and Uttoxeter (both at around 3m) since returning from a 19-month absence. Could have a part to play if coping with this drop back in trip.

Successful at Hereford on the second of 2 starts in bumpers and showed plenty to work on making his hurdling debut after 3 months off when second at Uttoxeter in May. Safely held both starts since but may well take a step forward now pitched into a handicap.

Fair maiden on Flat who showed a good attitude to get off the mark in this sphere at Exeter in March. Has held his form well since and no reason to think he won't be on the premises once more.

Winning hurdler/chaser for Henry de Bromhead in Ireland but hasn't shown much for present connections and yard saddles a more appealing candidate in Port Or Starboard.

There should be more to come from the unexposed GRAIN D'OUDAIRIES, who appeared to have a bit left up his sleeve when scoring at Uttoxeter last month. He gets the nod ahead of John Betjeman, who clearly likes it round here (form figures at Ffos Las read 1312212) and a reproduction of his latest effort at Kempton would put him firmly in the picture. Out of Focus is respected now handicapping, while Port Or Starboard also enters calculations.
