Notched 3 chase wins between April and July. Sound effort from her lower hurdle mark when second over 26.5f at Newton Abbot in September but ran no sort of race at Ffos Las last time.

Confirmed he possesses ability when second of 4 in a Fontwell novice (21.8f, good) in September and backed that up pitched into a handicap when filling same spot at Hereford (21.7f) last month. That form is proving strong, so must be taken seriously on debut for new yard (left Jennie Candlish).

Looked unlucky not to win 10-runner handicap at Ludlow (23.8f) when last seen in May, rallying after not clear run before straight. Good claims if resuming in similar form.

Still a maiden under both codes but went agonisingly close in handicap hurdles at Fontwell (3¼m, good) and Wincanton (24.7f, soft) in October and ran another sound race in a change of headgear back down markedly in trip when fourth of 15 at this course (16.5f) 2 weeks ago. Cheekpieces back on.

Much improved for new yard after wind surgery, winning at Stratford in October and following up at Hereford 8 days later (both 2¾m). Found some jumping issues resurfacing in his hat-trick bid at Huntingdon but wasn't seen to best effect and can be given another chance.

Improved on his second outing in handicaps when runner-up in an 18.5f Newton Abbot event back in May. Attracted supported but ran poorly at Lingfield on reappearance, however.

Irish point winner who landed a gamble from 4 lb out of the weights in 7-runner handicap at Plumpton (25f, soft, 4/1) 10 days ago, keeping on well and suited by increase in trip. Obvious claims under a penalty.

Forecasts

Abbeyhill (7/4), Stiletto (11/4), Top Cloud (9/2), Let's Go Amigo (11/2), Izzy's Grey (9/1), Robinsville (16/1), Baby Sham (16/1), Honey I'm Good (33/1)

Verdict

ABBEYHILL was suited by the step up in trip when landing a gamble from 4 lb out of the weights at Plumpton last week and, with the runner-up already franking the form, he's fancied to follow up under a penalty. Izzy's Grey was runner-up in a race at Hereford on his most recent outing that has worked out much better than expected, so he's feared on first start for a new stable, as is Stiletto, who's doing nothing wrong at present.
