Horse A-Z
Kayf Tara mare who had a breathing operation prior to her debut and finished mid-field in a Warwick bumper just over 3 weeks ago. Makes the quick switch to hurdling and worth a second look in the betting.

Has finished runner-up on both starts in bumpers, shaping as if better for the run after 6 months off when beaten 19 lengths at Ffos Las (15.8f, heavy) earlier this month. Lots to like on hurdling debut.

Off mark in Irish points and comfortably followed up in a bumper at Wetherby 8 months ago. Probably found the test too much after doing plenty of running to get into things when runner-up on hurdling debut at Stratford (22f, heavy) recently and every chance she can go one better.

Bought for £10,000 after winning on the last of 4 starts in points in March and shaped encouragingly on hurdling debut when third of 16 in novice at Ludlow (21.2f, soft) 5 weeks ago. Open to improvement.

Hit the frame twice from 4 starts in bumpers, latest when third at Ffos Las (15.8f, good to firm) 6 months ago. Has left Robert Bevis ahead of this hurdling debut and she looks very much a staying type.

Won sole start in point bumpers back in March and probably should have followed up on Rules debut when runner-up in a bumper at Aintree (17f, soft) last month, continuing to go left when headed 1f out. Makes hurdles debut.

Twice-raced winner in points who showed a bit in an admittedly muddling affair when mid-field in a maiden hurdle at Plumpton (15.9f, good to soft) earlier this month. Likely to need more time.

Looked an interesting type on paper having been successful on sole outing in points but failed to see her race out when well held in a bumper at Aintree (17f, good) 6 months ago. Has since left Francesca Poste ahead of this hurdles debut and she needs keeping a close eye on.

Jukebox Jury filly. Half-sister to fairly useful hurdler Cuthbert Dibble. Dam (h127), bumper/2½m hurdle winner, half-sister to useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 3m) Banjaxed Girl and useful chaser (stayed 3½m) Gorsky Island.

Telescope filly who is progressing with each run, turning in a more professional display after 6 months off when runner-up at Huntingdon (19.6f, good to soft) earlier this month. Every chance she will be in the mix once again.

Forecasts

Coco Mademoiselle (4/7), Phone Home (13/2), Sweet Honey B (7/1), Melusine De Pail (9/1), Quite The Getaway (12/1), Bluella Bresil (25/1), Molto Bene (28/1), Hazels Delight (33/1), Behind The Veil (40/1), Chief Lady (200/1)

Verdict

Cases can be made for a few of these but having found just one too strong on her recent hurdling debut, COCO MADEMOISELLE is fancied to go a place better at the expense of Melusine de Pail, who also shaped encouragingly when third at Ludlow last month and looks sure to improve on that initial effort. The progressive Phone Home and hurdling debutante Bluella Bresil can do battle for third.
