Fairly useful performer over hurdles (3-time winner) who made a winning start in this sphere in 4-runner handicap at Warwick in May. Had a pipe-opener back on the Flat before respectable second back chasing at Stratford 4 weeks ago. Likely to be sharper for that and player.
Point winner who built on a promising chase debut third when scoring easily in a small-field handicap at Ayr in January. However, not scaled same heights either outing since, left behind gradually when fourth in 6-runner Haydock handicap (16.3f) latest. Bit to prove on comeback.
Reliable chaser who signed off last season in excellent form, scoring here (19.4f) and runner-up in 2m Newcastle handicap. Shaped as if needing run here on reappearance and better expected now.
Made all over 2m at Ayr in January and hard to knock his consistency subsequently, runner-up to a next-time-out winner on return at Carlisle (2m) prior to good third behind well-treated pair at Aintree 3 weeks ago. Considered.

Netywell (11/8), Hystery Bere (9/4), Tokay Dokey (7/2), Escapeandevade (9/2), Gallic Geordie (5/1)
HYSTERY BERE is unexposed over fences and is worth another chance to build on his chase debut win. The consistent Netywell is feared most.
