40/1

Unplaced in a couple of bumpers and was given a considerate introduction to hurdling when eighth of 14 in maiden at Market Rasen (16.6f, good to soft) 13 days ago, unable to sustain effort. Should do better in time.

Yeats gelding who made a winning start in a Huntingdon bumper before finding only one too good under a penalty. Well held in Aintree Grade 2 on final outing and has since left Lucy Wadham.

Spanish Moon gelding. Half-brother to bumper winner/useful hurdler Crambo. Dam French 17f-19f hurdle/chase winner. Runner-up both starts in Irish points and lots to like starting out under Rules here for top yard.

5/2

Fair form at best in a handful of bumper starts and improved on his hurdling debut form for Philip Fenton when second in 17-runner novice at Warwick (2m) 3 weeks ago, sticking to task. No reason why he won't go well again.

Forecasts

The Village Way (1/1), Toonagh Warrior (5/2), Indeevar Bleu (5/2), Taras Halls (4/1), Notimeforanother (10/1), Rumoursareflying (40/1)

THE VILLAGE WAY could be the way to go starting out over hurdles at a track where his yard have a tremendous record. Toonagh Warrior made a bright start for his new stable when second at Warwick and is the obvious danger.
