Fairly useful hurdler/chaser in Ireland and better than ever when making a winning start for new trainer Anthony Honeyball in 4-runner Fontwell handicap hurdle in October. Folded tamely in a deeper race at Newbury since, though.

Looked promising when winning on Flat and over hurdles in 2021 but not seen again until a remote third at Stratford in March of this year. Pulled up over 21f here the following month and absent again since. Top yard perseveres but could only consider if backed.

Fair juvenile hurdler last season but had gone the wrong way when last seen in the spring. A 6-month break needs to have had a reviving effect.

Bounced back to form with a bang with a career-best effort to see off 12 rivals over C&D a fortnight ago. That was a well-contested race and he should remain competitive after a 6 lb rise.

Dual 2m hurdles winner last season. Disappointing on Plumpton reappearance but much better with a tongue tie refitted (retained) when fifth of 12 over 21f at Ludlow 18 days ago, fading late on as if this return to a shorter trip will suit.

Added to an excellent record at Taunton when winning in a small field last December. Lost her way in the spring but back on song after a break when second of 10 at Wincanton last month.

Won a Market Rasen maiden and 2m handicap at Worcester in summer 2022. Showed he retains all his ability back from an absence when just edged out at Uttoxeter (2m, good) in August. That form has been franked and big player if he can keep the errors down (tends to make mistakes).

Pair of wins for Milton Harris this summer but the handicapper has looked in charge in recent starts. First outing for Syd Hosie.

Fair winning hurdler/chaser for Paul Henderson and struck over hurdles at just the second time of asking for new trainer Chris Gordon at Plumpton last month. Raised 7 lb but he won off a higher mark earlier in his career. Interesting.

Made a winning handicap hurdle debut at Huntingdon (2m) in May and runner-up on next 2 outings. Predictably struggled in good-quality events on the Flat over the summer and only eighth of 11 in handicap at Ascot (19f, soft) on hurdle return 23 days ago.

TOOTHLESS was bang there until his stamina appeared to give out over 21f at Ludlow and gets the nod back at 2m having been eased another 2 lb since. Small Bad Bob has made a positive start to his time with Chris Gordon and remains well treated on old form so he's second choice ahead of Oslo, who can make mistakes but is more than capable off his mark.
