Winning Irish pointer who made a successful hurdles debut at Ayr 12 months ago. Sent chasing after 10 months off when a keen-going third of five in 2m4f Hexham novice handicap last month. Could well leave that form behind here.

Back to winning ways in 23f handicap hurdle at Exeter in February but has disappointed both runs subsequently, pulled up on his chasing debut at Warwick 18 days ago. In excellent hands and worth another chance.

Fergal O'Brien's improving Autonomous Cloud rates a big threat on his return though, while it would come as no surprise to see both Step Above and Farmer's Gamble take a big step forward from their most recent efforts.
