7/4

Half-brother to 3 winners, including very smart hurdler Saldier. Down the field in a maiden on the Flat in Italy in the spring but a totally different proposition when overcoming inexperience to make a winning start over hurdles at Warwick 19 days ago. Useful prospect.

66/1

Modest on the Flat in Ireland for Jim Bolger and didn't achieve much when a remote fourth of 7 on his Chepstow hurdle debut 6 weeks ago. Swerved and unseated first at Cheltenham last weekend. First-time headgear combination fitted on the back of that.

Form: 4U

Forecasts

Salver (7/4), Valadon (2/1), Authoceltic (7/2), Johannes (11/2), Taritino (28/1), Kauto Kawai (33/1), Parish Star (66/1), Pivotal Sky (66/1), Garrick Street (80/1), Future Times (150/1)

SALVER looked potentially useful when scoring on his Warwick hurdle debut and is taken to make light of his penalty. French Flat winner Johannes looks a likely type for a race like this, while Valadon and Authoceltic are newcomers with plenty to recommend them on paper.
