Successful 3 times at up to 2m4f over hurdles but failed to meet expectations in trio of starts over fences around this time last term. Reappears on the back of a wind op/tongue tie also on and interesting if supported on return to chasing.

Largely progressive in handicap hurdles last term and he returned with a solid second at Warwick (21f) in October. Not in same form when third at Aintree (24.7f) subsequently but this well-made sort shouldn't be underestimated now his attentions switch to chasing.

Irish point winner who struck on hurdles debut here (20.6f) in March and similar form in hitting the frame both starts since, latterly when runner-up in a Ffos Las novice (20f) in May. No reason why he won't make his mark over larger obstacles and he's shortlisted back from 6 months off.

Scored twice over hurdles last season, latterly at Fontwell (19.2f) in March. Left the impression he would improve for his return/chase debut experience at Huntingdon (23.6f) 24 days ago and he's eased further in the weights.

Mount Nelson gelding who defied market weakness to make a winning hurdles debut at Wetherby (19.7f) 13 months ago but record patchy thereafter in that sphere. Market may prove a useful guide now chasing on return to action.

Lightly-raced winning hurdler who has yet to progress from a promising chase debut in this sphere, fourth of 7 in handicap at Kempton (3m) on seasonal bow 32 days ago. Yard continue to go well however and he's a definite player on pick of his form.

A former Irish point winner, THE SAME made a bright start over hurdles earlier this year, successful at this venue prior to posting a pair of in-the-frame efforts in novice company. Appealing as the type to make his mark in this sphere, he earns the vote to come out on top on return/handicap debut. Prairie Wolf is another of interest now chasing, whilst Rocky Lake is a player on the pick of his chase form.
