Hiero Sport²²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: Kielan Woods| T: A M Hales

15/2

Out of a fairly useful jumper and shaped with plenty of promise when second in Market Rasen bumper on debut back in March. Shaped better than bare result at Fakenham on hurdling debut/return and should do better.

Form: 2-3

Magic Wave³⁶⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 11-4| J: Jamie Hamilton| T: M Walford| BF

30/100

Progressive in bumpers, off the mark at the third attempt at Ayr on last season's reappearance. Decent start to hurdles career when second to a useful sort at Wetherby a year ago but off since. This looks an excellent opportunity.

Form: 22/12-

Broomhill Road³⁰

Age: 4| Weight: 11-3| J: Thomas Bellamy| T: A King

20/1

Chased home a potentially useful sort on debut in a Doncaster bumper (16.6f, good) in March. Failed to build on that at Huntingdon next time, however, and offered little on hurdles bow at Exeter after 6 months off.

Form: 2-66

J'habite En France^t²⁴

Age: 4| Weight: 11-3| J: J M Quinlan| T: B I Case

5/1

Fetched £40,000 after finishing second in a 2½m maiden point in January and duly showed ability sent hurdling at Huntingdon last month, 3 lengths behind the runner-up when falling at the last. Entitled to come on for that.

Form: 2-F

Pertemps Diamond¹⁹⁴

Age: 4| Weight: 11-3| J: C J Todd| T: Ian Williams

50/1

Minor promise first 3 starts in bumpers but well held at Haydock in May after 3 months off. Makes hurdles debut.

Form: 736-6

Non-Runners

Atacama Sky⁴⁶

Weight: 11-4| Age: 5

Forecasts

Magic Wave (30/100), J'habite En France (5/1), El Saviour (13/2), Hiero Sport (15/2), Broomhill Road (20/1), Pertemps Diamond (50/1), Atacama Sky (100/1), Cormackstown Road (150/1)

Useful-bumper winner MAGIC WAVE was beaten only by a useful sort on his hurdles bow at Wetherby when last seen 12 months ago and can start to make up for lost time. J'Habite En France and El Saviour make most appeal of the others.
