Remains well treated on his best form and arrives after a pair of sound efforts, staying on from a long way back when sixth of 19 in handicap chase at Cheltenham (25f, good to soft) 24 days ago. Player.

Very easy winner at Wetherby in November 2021 and finished runner-up twice subsequently that season. Missed all of last term and has left Tom George, so market can prove guide.
Looked a good prospect when scoring 3 times over hurdles in 2021/22 campaign but was majorly disappointing over fences last time and failed to revive for new yard at Huntingdon 3 weeks ago.
As good as ever when winning at Kempton in March. Found to have bled on next start at Market Rasen, which has to be a concern, but prior form gives him a chance in this company.
Chepstow maiden hurdle winner showed lots to like when runner-up after a wind-op and a year off at Plumpton in March. Went wrong way in following 2 outings, but has the physique for chasing and could get back on track.
Placed on all 3 runs over hurdles and showed some aptitude when fourth of 7 in handicap chase at Kempton (18f, good) on debut over fences 29 days ago. Entitled to progress as a chaser, especially now faced with more suitable test.
Placed in an Irish point and got off the mark over hurdles at the second attempt when scoring at Warwick in September. Not in same form at Cheltenham last time but remains one to be positive about quickly sent chasing.

Forecasts
One True King (3/1), Everything'sontick (16/5), Spago (7/2), Track And Trace (11/2), Animal (6/1), Milan Bridge (9/1), Kap Auteuil (12/1), Oscar Robertson (20/1)
SPAGO appeals as the sort to make a better chaser and should find the anticipated improvement with this markedly longer trip looking in his favour. One True King has been running well in tougher company recently and should prove capable of giving another good account, with chase-newcomer Track And Trace also interesting.
