Refused to race on debut. 9/2 and hooded for 1st time, went with little encouragement when fourth of 7 in seller at Musselburgh (12.5f, good to soft) 30 days ago, slowly away. Significantly back down in trip.

Forecasts

Torchlight (10/11), Inspiritus (9/2), Abbey Gardens (5/1), Flindrikin (7/1), King's Vanity (12/1), Platinum Jubilee (18/1), Glowing Flame (28/1), Darkzideofthemoon (80/1)

Verdict

It's hard to look beyond TORCHLIGHT, who bumped into an above-average prospect at Kempton last week and John & Thady Gosden's filly looks capable of better again. Abbey Gardens and Flindrikin were fourth and seventh respectively in that same contest and may well emerge as the chief threats, with newcomer King's Vanity another worth keeping a close eye on.
